Eight month programme from August 2027 to March 2028 with a seminar on Japan, a two month intensive Japanese course and a six month traineeship at a Japanese company. Grant of up to 9,200 euros, with accommodation provided by the host company and insurance included.
Who can apply
EU or associated country citizens enrolled at a university in the EU or an associated country, studying engineering or a related STEM field, between the fourth year of study and the final year of a PhD. Applicants must be fluent in English and able to commit 8 months; up to 28 students are selected.
Deadline
January 20, 2027: The call opened on 30 October 2026 and closes on 20 January 2027 at 23:00 CET. The placement list is expected from mid December 2026.
