USD 1,500 a month per athlete toward training facilities, a specialist coach, medical and scientific support, insurance, board and lodging, and travel to Olympic qualification events. Each eligible NOC can get up to six scholarships (three men, three women).
Who can apply
For international-level athletes in individual LA 2028 sports who have a realistic chance of qualifying and no other way to fund training; they must have no doping or ethics sanctions. Only NOCs that had 50 or fewer individual-sport athletes at Paris 2024 can apply.
Deadline
Next deadline not announced yet. Athletes cannot apply directly: their National Olympic Committee (NOC) submits candidates. The first allocation deadline was 30 June 2025, but NOCs that missed it can still get later allocations. The programme runs until 31 August 2028.
