Applicants to 2027 PKU master’s and PhD programmes can be considered for the Chinese Government Scholarship Type B (full or partial tuition waiver, free accommodation, monthly living expenses and medical insurance), the Beijing Government Scholarship (Types A to C) or the PKU Scholarship for New International Students. The application fee is 800 RMB per programme.
Who can apply
Non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport; master’s applicants need a bachelor’s degree and PhD applicants a master’s degree (bachelor’s holders may apply to science and engineering PhDs only).
Deadline
December 25, 2026: The 2027 application window runs from 26 October 2026 to 25 December 2026 (Beijing time); second-round exams are held January to March 2027.
