Four months of full-time empirical AI safety research with mentorship from Anthropic researchers, in shared workspaces in London or Berkeley or remotely in the UK, US or Canada. Fellows get a weekly stipend of 3,850 USD, 2,310 GBP or 4,300 CAD, plus about 15,000 USD per month for compute.
Who can apply
You need work authorization in the US, UK or Canada and must be located there during the program; Anthropic does not sponsor visas for fellows. Fluent Python and a strong technical background are expected, but no PhD, prior ML experience or publications are required.
Deadline
Next deadline not announced yet. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and cohorts run several times a year. The current job page listed 30 October as the deadline for the January cohort.
