Grants of 3 to 9 months for study, research or lecturing in the US on EU affairs, EU policy or US to EU relations. Award lines include Doctoral Research, Post Doctoral Research and Lecturing, Fulbright NATO Security Studies, International Educator and Innovation awards.
Who can apply
Citizens of the 27 EU member states with a project that has a strong EU component and involves at least two member states. Candidates should not apply for other Fulbright awards in the same year.
Deadline
December 1, 2026: Applications for 2027 to 2028 are open from 15 September to 1 December 2026, at 12:00 CET per Fulbright Austria.
