Australian Government scholarship for 3 to 19 months of study, language training and internships in one of 37 Indo-Pacific host locations. Benefits include tuition up to AUD 30,000, a stipend of up to AUD 3,000 a month, a AUD 3,000 establishment allowance, a AUD 3,000 travel allowance and insurance.
Who can apply
Australian citizens enrolled in an undergraduate course at an Australian university, aged 18 to 30 (18 to 35 for First Nations applicants) on 1 January of the round year, and nominated by their home university. Applicants must not be citizens or permanent residents of the host location.
Deadline
Next deadline not announced yet. The 2027 round opened on 9 June 2026 and closed on 4 August 2026. DFAT has not yet published dates for the next round.
